- A player earns a letter if he participates in a minimum of half the regular season games played.
- A player earns a letter if he starts in a mimimum of 4 games during the regular season.
- A player earns a letter if he officially plays in a playoff game (courtesy runner is not official).
- The head coach reserves the right to award a letter, if he so chooses, to a player that does not achieve any of the previous requirements for his own reasons.
